Sarah is Head of Data at Holiday Extras, leading a team of both Data Engineers and Data Scientists and has over 18 years of hands on SQL and analytical experience.
She is currently leading the migration of the legacy DB2 batch system to streaming Data on BigQuery, enabling faster and wider access to data across the business.
She has lead the business to embrace the use of Looker with 400 users across the group now having both the tools and the skills to get at the data they need.
Sarah is passionate about data access and literacy, actively bridging the gap between deeply technical people and the wider world, both internally across the business and also in founding the Kent Women in Tech network to help promote women and girls flourish in STEM.
