Rares Rusu is Principal Developer at PaddyPower Betfair (part of Flutter Entertainment), where he actively contributed to designing and building the new generation of Paddypower Betfair’s promotional systems. He advises teams on designing distributed systems, data pipelines and storage solutions.
Vastly experienced in developing fault tolerant systems which are able to handle load surges, Rares is a strong supporter of the SRE principles, closely advising monitoring, continuous code base improvements and code reviews as basic development principles.
