Horia leads the data governance function for BT Global, focusing on data privacy, security, and the availability and usability of the data. During his tenure at BT, he has implemented the Global Business Assurance framework, redesigned the financial control framework, and led the data analytics transformation programme to a hybrid cloud solution supporting the need for agility, privacy and security. Horia has over 20 years experience in the European telecommunications market, having worked for various telecom operators with a proven success in defining, implementing risk-based control frameworks and business transformation. His educational background is in engineering and management accounting (CIMA-CGMA) and training in network management, total quality assurance frameworks, Lean and more recently as a Data Privacy professional with the IAPP.
