"Gülşen is a data literacy advocate and is experienced in youth work. Throughout her experiences in the field, she saw the ominous correlation between digital and social exclusion and decided to tackle this issue by empowering individuals in the digital age.

Her interests revolve around data literacy. She wrote her thesis, joined related research projects and gave speeches on the topic in order to draw attention. She is currently working on an open-source data literacy framework that will enable people and organizations to asses their skills. Gülşen aspires to raise awareness on data literacy and make an appreciable impact on its social perception."
