Daniel joined Ipsos MORI a decade ago, and has managed and directed a huge range of research and evaluation projects for high profile clients in the public, private and charity sectors. In his current role, he is Head of Central Government research at Ipsos MORI, coordinating and overseeing projects for numerous public sector organisations. He specialises in working on large scale, fast-turn around studies, often investigating sensitive and contentious issues for clients including the BBC, Ofcom, the MOD and King’s College London. Daniel regularly authors reports and commentary about social trends and public attitudes in Britain.
The team he leads focuses on cross-cutting issues at the heart of government, including public service reform, regulation and emerging policies challenges like the use of big data. Exploring public perceptions of data and data science has been a focus over recent years, including projects for the ONS, ESRC, Cabinet Office and the Royal Society.
