A big part of the power of AI and machine learning is adaptability: these systems learn from data, and so their behavior can change with the changing world. Times like the present, as great changes happen, particularly underline the value of AI’s adaptability. But to bring practical value, development of AI needs more than skilled data scientists. It also requires skilled conversations with other experts, non-data scientists who know the meaning of the data and can set the context for the machine-based decisions an AI system will make. I will talk about what this means, how new technologies can facilitate the conversion and show by examples what you can do to help make AI practical.
